Carla Roundtree has been an active and engaged member of our Board of Directors since being appointed in June 2018 to represent the Urban League of Broward County. Carla is a community advocate; over the past 30 years, she has been involved in organizations such as the Parent Teacher Association, School Advisory Committee, School Advisory Forum, and the Urban League.
Carla is passionate about helping her community. She has volunteered for the cities of Oakland Park and Fort Lauderdale, as well as for the African American Research Library, American Cancer Society Relay for Life, and several political campaigns. She currently has a Facebook page that serves as a liaison between governments, businesses, and public agencies to provide information to the community on events.
