As the sun sets on October 17, 2024, Margaritaville at Hollywood Beach will sparkle with the spirit of the late 1950’s and the Rat Pack and old Hollywood. The much-anticipated 22nd Annual for the Public Good benefiting the Legal Aid Programs in Broward County will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Legal Aid Service of Broward County (LASBC)! This landmark event promises not just an evening of nostalgia, with live music featuring songs made famous by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr., late 1950’s decor, iconic fashions, and evoking the glamour of old Hollywood and stars such as Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly, but also a celebration of five decades of unwavering service to the most vulnerable within our community.
The official dress code for the 2024 For the Public Good is semi-formal. For those arriving directly from work business formal attire is appropriate. However, in keeping with our late 1950’s ‘Rat Pack’ and Old Hollywood Glamour theme this year, we encourage our guests who would like to do so to have some fun and wear attire that reflects the sophistication and flair that made the 1950’s and Rat Pack/Old Hollywood era so celebrated and memorable.
