Rosalind J. Matos, Esq. accepts pro bono cases from Broward Lawyers Care/Legal Aid to assist low-income residents of Broward County with defending foreclosure lawsuits in order to save them from homelessness. During the past four years, she has volunteered over 240 hours, demonstrating her generosity and willingness to serve the community. Her work has helped families to save their homes through litigation and negotiation. Notably, she accepted three cases in 2016, and continued to defend them until the parties reached a fair settlement. Her work enabled one client to save her home; enabled a single mother with a disabled son to stay in their home for an additional three-and-a-half years and receive a cash-for-keys agreement to be able to move; and enabled another family to stay in their home an additional two-and-a-half years while she defended the case and negotiated a settlement.
With 19 years of experience in the practice of law, Rosalind J. Matos focuses her Weston, Florida practice in a range of areas.
