Stacia McCray is an attorney in the Education Legal Rights Project unit at Legal Aid Service of Broward County. Prior to joining Legal Aid, McCray worked as a Guardian Ad Litem Attorney as well as a Public Defender in the Juvenile Division. She earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2012 and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Missouri in 2009. McCray feels very blessed to work for Legal Aid in an area of law that she is passionate about. Advocating for children in underserved populations and making sure that they receive an appropriate education despite their circumstances provides her great reward.
