Legal Aid Service of Broward County (LASBC)

Purpose:

To grow LASBC’s capacity and to strengthen our future sustainability in a time of growing demand for the life-changing free civil legal services provided by LASBC, and address the increasing need for unrestricted funds to expand programs and increase access to justice in Broward County.

Donations through the League of Justice will be utilized to sustain and grow LASBC’s ability to provide impactful free civil legal services for Broward County residents in need. League of Justice donations support the following constituencies and projects:

Family Law
Domestic Violence
Children’s Advocacy Program
Homeless Rights
Homelessness Prevention
Housing
Consumer Law
Veterans Projects
Immigration Law
Human Trafficking
Ryan White Project (HIV/AIDS)
Low-Income Taxpayers Clinic
Community Economic Development
Victims of Crime
Special Projects – Impact Litigation

Requirement:

Must make a multi-year pledge to LASBC of at least 3 years.

Giving Tiers:

League of Justice members pledge to give one of the following annual levels of giving each year over at least 3 consecutive years.

VISIONARY LEVEL – $25,000 and higher
LEGACY BUILDER – $10,000
CAPACITY CHAMPION – $7,500
SUSTAINER SOCIETY – $5,000

Recognition:

» (a) on a special dedicated League of Justice acknowledgment page on our website listed in order of giving tiers – with logos/hyperlinks to donor website homepage;

» (b) automatic Sponsorship recognition at LASBC’s annual A Night for Justice Gala (at the annual giving level of pledge/donation to the League of Justice subject only to the exclusive recognition and benefits reserved for the Title Sponsor);

» (c) automatic recognition at any other LASBC fundraiser or recognition event conducted during the calendar year falling within the term of the pledge;

» (d) in LASBC’s newsletters (sent to over 10,000 on our contact list) and annually on our social media sites including Facebook, X, Instagram, and LinkedIn;

» (e) feature page in LASBC’s Annual Report
