* The four estate planning documents include:

• Wills: states client’s wishes and ensures these wishes are carried out after death.
• Lady Bird Deeds: lets the owner maintain control of a property until their death, after which it goes to a beneficiary without probate.
• Powers of Attorney: authorizes a person to act on behalf of another (can cover matters such as financial, health, or business affairs).
• Healthcare Directives: provides instructions for medical care that goes into effect if someone becomes incapable of communicating them.
