Pro Bono Attorney Spotlight: Manju Kalidindi

Manju Kalidindi, Esq. is the founding partner of the Law Offices of Manju Kalidindi, P.A. in Plantation. The firm’s focus is primarily in the areas of employment and family based immigration law.

Kalidindi has volunteered with Broward Lawyers Care for a number of years, and her pro bono legal work has benefitted domestic violence victims under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). She has represented victims of domestic violence and other crimes in their immigration matters and was named the Broward Lawyers Care Attorney of the Month in November 2012. She has been recognized twice by the Supreme Court of Florida for providing exceptional pro bono service.

She is a frequent presenter on the topic of domestic violence and VAWA (Violence Against Women Act), and in 2015 the Desh Videsh Media Group presented her with their Community Leader Award.

Ms. Kalidindi is the founder of thisdaughter.com – a platform for the empowerment of women. She is the past president of Sahara of South Florida, a South Florida-based nonprofit organization that assists victims of domestic violence, mainly from South Asia. She is a member of the Florida Bar, American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), AILA South Florida Chapter, and the South Asian Bar Association. Kalidindi also serves on the Board of Directors of Women in Distress and is a past-member of the Open Space and Recreation Space Advisory Committee for the Town of Davie.
