Andrew* was bogged down with debt, causing a cascade of other problems in his everyday life. He was so worried about the debt he was having a difficult time focusing on everyday matters, including job training and gainful employment. With the assistance of a legal aid attorney, Andrew was able to resolve his debt and associated legal issues, enroll in school, and move forward with his life. Recently, Andrew took a semester off from school to do an internship with a congressional candidate. Now back in school, he anticipates graduating in 2019 with a degree in management.
