Rebecca* is a senior citizen who has had a rough year. Her house is currently in foreclosure and she is not able to save her home. Due to these circumstances, she has to sell her property of 35 years and try to finance something of lesser value. To compound her predicament, Rebecca has a major dental issue that is causing depression. She cannot afford the dental work needed and therefore cannot chew through food and has to puree all of her meals. She is embarrassed to socialize with others due to the extreme nature of her dental problems. Rebecca stays home which adds to her feelings of depression and isolation. She has been adopted and will be able to purchase food during the holidays.
