Colette Kienle has been with Legal Aid since October 2009. She currently provides legal assistance to clients with cases involving sealing and/or expungement and driver’s license reinstatement. These types of services can make a life changing difference to clients, allowing them to clear hurdles that can impact their ability to provide food, clothing and housing for themselves and for their families.
For example, employment and safe housing are difficult to retain if an individual has a driver’s license suspension or even an old, minor criminal offense on record. Therefore, assistance with these issues can lead to the financial foothold that will impact the whole family’s survival, progress and potential.
Colette’s previous roles at Legal Aid have included representing clients with mortgage and association foreclosures, debt collection and wage garnishment cases. Whatever her scope of service over the years, she comes to work each day striving to make an impact on the lives of her clients and their families.
Colette also is an avid recreational tennis player.
