Ms. Elisaveta Alexieva is an attorney with Legal Aid Service of Broward County. Elisaveta works at the Children’s Unit of Legal Aid, where she helps manage the Kinship Rights Project which provides free legal assistance to eligible relatives and non-relative caregivers raising children in Broward County. In her position, Elisaveta helps children establish a stable placement under custody, guardianships, and adoptions.
Before joining Legal Aid Service of Broward County in 2018, Ms. Alexieva worked as an attorney at Broward Law Group, as an Associate in the Office for Reginal Counsel in FT. Lauderdale, and in other law practices such as McCormick & McCormick in Miami FL, and Advocacy Law group in Miramar, FL.
Elisaveta earned her Juris Doctor Degree from Florida International University College of Law and a Master of Law Degree from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski in Bulgaria.
Elisaveta’s Bar Admissions include Bulgaria 2002; New York State Bar, 2009; Florida Bar, 2009; and United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, 2010. She is also Secretary and Member of the Board of Directors for the Cultural and Educational Center of South Florida.
