Edwin Cordova, Esq., currently serves as an attorney on Legal Aid’s Housing Team. For the past six years, Edwin has worked to help people in our community who are facing foreclosure, eviction and termination of subsidized housing benefits. He has worked with several programs such as Housing Opportunities for People with Aids (HOPWA), HEART, Broward Partnership for Homeless and Victims of Crime (VOCA). He also makes presentations to other community organizations, speaking about housing rights, legal issues in housing, and the services provided by Legal Aid.
Before becoming a resident of Florida, Edwin was an attorney in Peru with a practice focusing on business law, bankruptcy, and international trade Law. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Law School at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, where he was an assistant professor of international business law and a teaching assistant for contracts law.
Edwin enjoys giving back to the community. For the past four years, he has volunteered as a head coach with the Plantation Athletic Soccer League.
