Annabella Barboza is a shareholder of Barboza Law & Associates, a boutique law firm specializing in real estate, probate, estate planning and business law. Barboza volunteers with our MISSION UNITED Veterans Pro Bono Project and helped develop our first Veteran estate Planning clinic. She has been instrumental in launching the NO PLACE LIKE HOME project assisting low-income families and seniors living on fixed incomes clear title to their homes. Annabella advances our mission and programs through her active engagement on our Board of Directors.
In addition, Annabella Barboza is among a select number of Florida attorneys that are Board Certified by The Florida Bar as an expert in Real Estate Law.
Ms. Barboza’s experience includes the legal representation of real estate owners, investors and lenders in the acquisition, sale, finance of real property as well as in foreclosure cases. She has extensive experience in title insurance matters and title claims involving complex title defects, lien priority conflicts, fraud and related matters. She is an authorized title insurance agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company/FUND Title Services.
Ms. Barboza, a former Assistant City Attorney, has comprehensive experience on code enforcement lien matters and related settlement negotiations. She also represents clients in probate administration, estate planning and business matters.
Born and raised in Perú, Ms. Barboza’s strong work ethic and commitment to service come naturally from a long line of attorney practitioners in Perú: her father, grandfather and brothers. She is fluent in Spanish and utilizes her bilingual skills to help foreign clients investing in U.S. real estate.
