Wendy is a practicing attorney and licensed real estate salesperson with nearly 30 years of experience in real estate law. She is the Project Attorney for Affordable Housing and Community Economic Development at Legal Aid Service of Broward County (LASBC). Prior to this, she “proudly served those who served” as an attorney with the Mission United Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program of the United Way of Broward County and LASBC. Through the SSVF program, Wendy assisted 400 veterans and their families with a variety of housing issues.
She received her J.D. with honors from the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida.
Wendy has been actively involved in advocating for the new Broward Human Rights Ordinance, recently unanimously adopted by the Broward County Commission. It prohibits discrimination against veterans, victims of domestic violence and lawful sources of income.
