Janet Workman, M.B.A., is a Paralegal/Case Manager in the Mission United Veterans Pro Bono Project at Legal Aid. She also has worked as a Paralegal in the Legal Aid Kinship program. On a daily basis, Janet speaks with Veterans who are seeking legal assistance to determine how Legal Aid can best help them. Often, this means placing the Veteran’s case with a pro bono attorney.
Janet has been a Paralegal for over five years and has extensive experience in word processing, spreadsheets, database administration and reporting, and legal drafting and E-filing. She has created multiple reports and is responsible for helping place clients with Pro Bono Attorneys in the community. A women with very diverse interests and skills, she recently taught a CLE for her co-workers on PDF Create Assistant, and also is the chair of the Decoration Committee for the Staff Holiday Party coming up in December. In her free time Janet enjoys the outdoors, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her family.
Janet earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University and an M.B.A. from the New York Institute of Technology.
