Pro Bono Attorney Spotlight: Vladymir J. Champagne, Esq.

Vladymir J. Champagne, Esq. is a partner at the Law Offices of Champagne and Surin, P.A. where he handles immigration and family law cases.

Vladymir has been a member of the Broward Lawyers Care Pro Bono Panel for over Ten years. During that time, he has volunteered over 100 pro bono hours, demonstrating his generosity and willingness to serve the community.

Most recently, Vladymir helped a survivor of domestic violence who only speaks Haitian Creole to divorce her abusive spouse. Mr. Champagne represented this client for two-and-a-half years and dedicated 80 pro bono hours to her case. His work enabled her to receive child support and alimony awards, helping her become financially independent of her ex-husband.  

Vladymir grew up in Haiti and attended school at “Petit Seminaire College St Martial,” a private catholic school in Port au Prince, Haiti, where he completed both primary and secondary school.  After the fall of Baby Doc Duvalier in 1986, Mr. Champagne left Haiti and started college at Miami Dade Community College (MDCC).  He later transferred to Florida International University (FIU,) where he graduated with a Bachelor in Arts in Public Administration and a Minor in Sociology.  He enrolled soon after in the Masters in Public Administration program at Florida International University and took classes there for a year.

Mr. Champagne is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, where he graduated with a Juris Doctor degree.
