Michael Rajtar is the founder of Rajtar & Associates, P.A., a full service commercial law firm with practice areas in condominium and homeowner association law, as well as real estate litigation, commercial and residential closings, and commercial litigation. He was born in Hudson, New York, and moved to Florida in 1995 to attend the University of Miami School of Law.
Michael is very active in our legal community. As a founding member of the Florida Lawyers Network in 2010, he served as its inaugural President of the Fort Lauderdale Chapter from 2012 to 2016.
He has also been a board member of the South Broward Bar Association since 2008 and served as the President from 2014 to 2015. He served as the Inaugural President of the West Broward Bar Association in 2011 and 2012 and has begun his second term on the Board of the Broward County Bar Association. Michael was the 2012 recipient of the BCBA President’s Award, and he runs the BCBA Bowling League that is now in its ninth year.
Most recently, he was installed to the joint Board of Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida and Legal Aid Service of Broward County in January. He is looking forward to using his vast leadership experience and connections from throughout our legal community to help make a positive difference with these two outstanding organizations. His involvement with Legal Aid Programs goes back many years, as Michael has taken pro bono cases, volunteered for the Advice & Counsel Hotline, and has been a loyal attendee at many fundraising events.
Michael is admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
