Board Member Profile: David N. Morrison

A veteran law practitioner specializing in various areas of real estate banking and development counsel, David N. Morrison is a proud member of the board of directors for Legal Aid Service of Broward County (LAS) and advisory board president of LAS in Collier County. His extensive experience in legal services spans real estate, banking and financial institutions, business law, and international services. David brings invaluable knowledge and expertise to LAS in both Broward and Collier Counties.

Morrison currently serves as a Partner for Quarles & Brady LLP, a multidisciplinary AmLaw 200 legal services provider. Under his leadership, his practice is focused on the representation of national, regional, and community lenders in the acquisition, financing, and development of real estate property, as well as representing land bankers, national developers, and cooperative owner’s associations. He is also the founder of Triumph Development Corporation, a luxury homebuilder based in Naples.

David earned his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he also served as Associate Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland, where he obtained his Bachelor of Art Degree, and later attended the University of Miami Law School to obtain his Master of Law Degree. Morrison is a member of the Florida Bar.

David’s professional and civic activities include sitting on the board of directors for Legal Aid Service of Broward County (LAS), being past President of the advisory board for Legal Aid Service of Collier County, and serving as past President for Avow Hospice. His professional accolades include earning a Martindale-Hubbell AV® Peer Review Rating, and in 2020, he was named among the “Top Lawyers” of real estate law by Naples Illustrated.
