Mark YES on Your Florida Bar Dues Renewal

Legal Aid’s Pro Bono Program is an invaluable resource in our community, assisting those who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford legal counsel. As President of the Young Lawyers Section of the Broward County Bar Association, I encourage other young lawyers in our community to contribute to Legal Aid in whatever way they are able.

The Young Lawyers Section has issued its Legal Aid Hotline Challenge for the last six years, challenging our fellow Broward County voluntary bar associations to staff the Legal Aid Hotline. While our “Hotline Challenge” amasses over 400 pro bono hours and assists almost 800 clients annually, it is still a far cry from fulfilling all of the legal services our community so desperately needs.

Legal Aid is only able to provide these much needed services through your donations. Donating just $350 can assist Legal Aid in paying for filing fees, legal resources, court reporter fees, and so much more. More importantly, a donation of any amount will help those in our community who need it most. I ask you to please consider donating whatever you can.
