Leo Sutkin, Esq. is an attorney in the Housing Rights Projects unit at Legal Aid Service of Broward County. Leo addresses the housing needs for low-income Veterans in Broward County by working to help them avoid homelessness from their present home or move into safe and affordable housing. He enjoys his work and finds it to be very rewarding, saying “Being able to provide meaningful services to clients who otherwise would not have access to legal representation is personally fulfilling.” Prior to joining Legal Aid, Sutkin advised artists pro bono on various intellectual property matters. He is also a registered patent attorney. Sutkin earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Miami in 2010 and he received his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in 2006.
