Janina Evans is Executive Assistant to the Executive Director at Legal Aid. She wears many hats, and at some point everyone in the building works with Janina! She is responsible for overseeing building operations as well as providing support for grant reporting and invoicing and communication coordination for the Board of Directors. Janina is the site administrator for the organization’s case management tool and is kept very busy with training and reporting, including making a recent addition to the reporting tool to include cases related to COVID-19. Like everyone else at Legal Aid, Janina has been working remotely since mid-March. One of the new projects she’s been working on is coordinating and certifying our in-house notaries to be Online Notaries.
Janina has been with Legal Aid for eleven years, and enjoys the friends she’s made during that time. She is proud on her contributions, saying, “Although I do not provide direct client services, I support the staff and attorneys who are helping our clients. I feel that in this way I’m making a difference in the lives of those we serve.”
